The currency of the world "You should try lying, it's the currency of the world" A line from the movie Closer, directed by Mike Nichols ---- When I heard that sentence, it automatically made me wonder: "what is the true currency of the world?". I think the answer is time. In today's fast paced world, people have very little time to devote to one another. Sharing a portion of your daily time with someone, no matter how small, is a way of showing that s/he matters to you. I'll take time over money, anytime. To those who take a couple of minutes to leave comments on this blog, or who use their precious coffee break at work to drop me a line through an sms or an email, to those who are glad to spend their Sunday afternoon with me, to those who pick up the phone at ungodly hours in an effort to keep in touch, to those who fit me in their schedulles even when they really can't... pues sí, dichoso tic tac... ojalá se pudiera apretar un botón y detener esa manecilla q tanto nos aprieta! aunque, ahora q lo pienso, hay veces q se puede conseguir esa sensación d q no pasa el tiempo... d q el tiempo no pesa... en fin...

No sé si el tiempo marca las pautas o si es la mentira, como dice la película (por cierto, en ella hay muchas más frases provocadoras para la reflexión). Tu prefieres el tiempo al dinero de cualquier manera,... queremos más tiempo, pero también lo perdemos de manera cada vez más absurda. Dificil de discernir cual es lo que marca las pautas de este mundo... probablemente una combinación de varias cosas y algunas lo bastante malas como para pensar demasiado sobre ellas.
